Kollywood need tranparency in box office collections.For this ticketing system needed to be computerised. As of now roughly around 10-20% of theatres are equipped with computerised theatre booking system.Most of them are multiplex and 'A' Class theatres. If all the theatres in tamilnadu are computerised we can easily monitor the business of Kollywood.Production companies can use this system to plan their production according to their returns.according to that they can plan their future projects. Kollywood market is actor dominating field .Due to lack of correct boxoffice numbers actors have the top hand over the business.If one of their film get a hit status they increase the salary beyond their market .This will lead to overshooting of the budget.Some of the actors are manipulating the verdict of their film and get signed their next film.But the poor distributor will not get another film because of the loss incurred by their previous film.
